So, the cool crisp air is here, and there sadly is not much time until the ground is blanketed with snow.
If you live somewhere that big puffy coats and warm snow boots are not a necessity (and just for fashion) at some point in the year, then I am just a tad jealous of you! Of course I love living in a place where the seasons change, but boy do I wish our winters were a little friendlier to us!
Since the weather is getting cooler, I thought I would share with you one of my favorite basics to wear throughout fall and winter. It is a turtle-neck or mock-neck sweater-knit top or tee! They are so perfect for this time of year, and is a warmer and more chic twist on your basic t-shirt! Not to mention, you can find ones that are so affordable!
One of my favorite ways to style a top like this is tucked into high-waisted jeans and layered under my favorite chunky-knit sweater. This is how I styled my top above. It is such a simple and casual way to style them, but it has a way of making this casual outfit look well put together. If you wanted a way to style a top like this in a dressier way, then you could pair it with a skirt and your go-to ankle-strap heels. Or, another trendy way to style a turtle-neck or mock-neck tee right now is to wear it under a cami or slip dress. This look is so popular right now, and allows you to wear your sleeve-less dresses without being freezing!
These are just a few of the endless ways that you could style a top like this for fall and winter! They are just an easy thing to throw on, and a staple to have in your closet! Below I will link my outfit details from above, and also some amazing and affordable options for turtle-neck and mock-neck tops. I suggest having a few colors so you more outfit options!
