My Fave Fashion Finds of 2017

I still cannot believe that 2018 is here! Where did you go 2017?!

2017 was a pretty good year, full of ups and downs of course, but overall it was good! I also think that my style began to shine a little more, and I had some good buys throughout the year! I wanted to share my fave fashion finds of 2017! I planned on getting this post published last week, but this site transfer/redesign was not working by my schedule, but better late than never right?! You can easily shop any of these items throughout the post by simply clicking on the name of the item or with the ‘SHOP THE POST’ widget at the end of the blog post! I am also going to do one for my beauty buys as well in the next couple days (so stay tuned for that)!

Sherpa or Pile Jacket // This is not the exact one I have (although I have had my eye on this one…but it of course has been sold out in my size), but that one is not linkable. I have been obsessing over this teddy/faux fur/sherpa trend, and literally want everything I see that is in those materials. I think they are such a fun way to add texture (and a lot of times glam) to an outfit. Plus, they are perfect for winter because they are awesome for layering and do a heck of a job at keeping you warm! Here is an outfit styled with my pile jacket:

Heeled Booties // Okay so these beauties have been my most recent shoe crush! I got them during Black Friday/Cyber Monday and they have stolen my heart! I loved them so much that I had to get my sister a pair for Christmas! They are under $30 and also come in black. Not to mention, they are easy to walk in and have been comfortable on the feet! I will include a picture of me wearing them here:

Taupe & Black Ring Crossbody Purse + Cognac Ring Crossbody Purse  // If you have noticed, I sort of like handbags with a gold ring of some sort! I did a whole post about the two designer dupes that I have been wearing nonstop the past couple months. I think the two that I have just add a chic touch to any outfit I add them to! Plus, they are both so affordable when it comes to handbags!

Long-Sleeved Side-Slit Tee // Okay so this is the best t-shirt ever. I am not ashamed to say that I now have it in four colors (got two for Christmas). It goes with everything from jeans, to leggings (covers the butt), to joggers, etc.! It also is perfect for layering. The temperatures here have been a little crazy, and are about to get crazy again here in the next couple days. For times like this, I have been wearing this long-sleeved t-shirt under cardigans, sweaters, and jackets! It makes for the perfect layering addition! I do recommend you size down one size though because it is rather oversized. I usually wear a small and got x-small and it still have a little bit of an oversized fit! Needless to say, I love it and would have it in every color if I could! (Also, did I mention that is is under $20?!) Here is a full blog post that I did on this tee a few months ago!

Knit Joggers // These have been my best friends as of late! I have struggled finding joggers that actually fit me nicely and do not make me look like a total slob! I do not wear joggers or sweats out in public often at all, but I would most definitely wear these out running errands, going to class, or grabbing coffee with a friend. I have them in both gray and black, and wish there were more colors!! Pair it with the t-shirt from above and maybe your sherpa or teddy jacket and you are ready to go girl!

Pointed-Toe Black Booties // Okay, so these have been my absolute favorite additions to my wardrobe this year. They look so trendy paired with so many things! My favorite casual way to wear them is with my medium washed girlfriend denim and a cream sweater like I did here!

Reversible Faux Leather Tote // I love love love this tote! I bought it because I needed a bag to carry my laptop and other items when I did not need or want to carry my big backpack, and to use as my carry-on bag for when I went to NYC in May. It comes in so many good color options, and is under $50 (which is amazing for its quality).

Circle Necklace // I am the biggest fan of delicate and dainty jewelry. I feel like most statement jewelry is a little overwhelming for my taste. Although this does not mean that I do not like some things! When statement necklaces or earrings are done right, I love absolutely loved them (especially for glam kind of outfits). I have been wearing this one nonstop since I got it, and love layering it with other dainty pieces!!

Over-The-Knee Boots // So these bad boys were my only Nordstrom sale purchase at the end of summer, and I am still so impressed by them!! I had a cheap pair from Target before I purchased these and although they did the trick, I do not even want to wear them since I have experienced the quality of my Steve Madden ones. I also find that people pay hundreds of dollars for the same look that these ones give. I cannot recommend them enough!! Here is a full blog post and review that I did on them!

Girlfriend Denim // I had been searching for jeans that kind of gave that vintage/relaxed look for such a long time! Boyfriend jeans were always way to baggy and unflattering on me, but then I found these beautiful angels! You all know I love them because I wear them on here and Insta so much, but they are so comfy and give me the trendy look I was searching for!

Cabby Hat // I have seen this trend develop for a while, but did not jump in to adopt it until a few months ago. I love the character they give an outfit, not to mention they are perfect for bag hair days!! I love this striped one because it is so my style, it can be paired with so many outfits, and it is under $15 (you cannot go wrong with that)! Here is one of my favorite blog post where I am wearing this cabby hat!

I love each and everyone of these items, and I am wearing them constantly!! These are also items that you guys seem to love the most, which makes me so happy! Let me know what your favorite fashion purchase(s) of 2017 was or were!! I love to hear those kind of things!

Thanks for stopping by, Lovely!!
