My Affordable Go-To Outfit for Spring

Having a go-to outfit is always a must! Being able to have that outfit you grab when you are in a rush and just need something to throw on or just on a day that you do not know what to wear is so helpful. For each season I feel like I have the same go-to base outfit that is made up of my favorite closet staples. Those staples that make up the outfit just change slightly to account for the specific season’s weather. The items that are always the same season-to-season for my go-to outfit are a basic tee, denim of some sort, a neutral shoe, and layered jewelry.

For spring I am loving a crisp white tee that I am secretly hoping will make me look a little less pale (don’t have that summer glow yet lol), a light-wash vintage pair of jeans, my cognac slides that go with EVERYTHING, and my favorite petite pendant necklace. Since the days have been a lot warmer than normal, I might substitute my jeans for a pair of high-waisted shorts depending on what I am doing for the day. Although this outfit is super simple and full of closet staples, it still looks very put together and chic. To give this outfit a little more character, I would add a fun purse, hat, or some statement earrings!
